You can’t get excited about Apple products anymore ’cause they don’t present anything new and groundbreaking these days, right? Wrong! The highly anticipated launch of new iPhone 5 iterations over the weekend is big news for Californian giant, who now offers two new flagship models of its classy phone: the 5S, a technologically advanced, suave model for Apple aficionados, and the 5C, a cheap solution which still costs almost four times as much as the cheapest Chinese smartphone „for the masses” called Hongmi. However, its policy did change – and drastically so – that same last Thursday.

But barely a day later, the Supreme Court has voted another piece of legislation down, also a controversial one, but this time in favour of the „radical thinkers”. In what has now become a landmark case, the Supreme Court overturned part of DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act of 1996, passed by the US Congress during the Clinton administration, potentially levelling the playing field between the heterosexual and same-sex marriages in the US.
